In capturing your story I shoot using a photo documentary approach, artfully capturing the key moments and details of your day while also focusing on creating stylish and artful portraits of the bride and the other key players. And for mom, I still ensure that all the more traditional group shots get masterfully captured as well.

During weddings I often find myself wearing many different hats: photographer, diplomat, psychologist, cat herder, rodeo clown.. you name it, I have had to do it. It can be a bit stressful at times when you get thrown curve balls at weddings, but as a true professional I face every new challenge with experience, technical expertise, deft ability, a healthy sense of humor and top of the line Canon professional photography equipment.

Although I am a relentless perfectionist when it comes to my work, I also keep in mind the bigger picture and always strive to do my job unobtrusively to avoid getting in the way of your wedding day experience. I will offer suggestions and set up situations where we will get incredibly beautiful and powerful images, but I will not hijack your day. Over the years, I have honed my ability to sense when it is appropriate to engage my subjects and when I should give them a little space so they can enjoy what is going to be one of the most special days of their lives.
